  • Daniel McCarthy, MBA, Esq. – Founder and Managing Partner

    Daniel McCarthy received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he is currently a member of the University’s Cavanaugh Council. He received his law degree from The DePaul College of Law and is a member of the Illinois Bar. He received his Masters in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business. He is past chairman of the Legislative and Regulation Committee for the National Structured Settlement Trade Association in Washington, D.C. and currently serves on the board of the American Association of Settlement Consultants.

  • Paul Jacobs, Esq.

    Paul Jacobs received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University and his law degree from Creighton University School of Law. Prior to working for Waterville, he worked as both a defense attorney and as a plaintiff’s attorney handling complex liability cases. Paul is admitted to the Illinois Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

  • Joshua R. Hickey

    Joshua Hickey received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stonehill College, where he majored in English and Economics. His practice specializes in working with individuals, both minors and adults, who have suffered a serious personal injury. His focus is on the protection of individuals, and the growth of their settlement proceeds through the use of guaranteed and tax-free payments. He has over a decade of experience assisting families of wrongful death, medical malpractice, and wrongful conviction cases.

  • Nicki McNally

    Nicki McNally received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Cell & Structural Biology from the University of Illinois. She received her Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University. Nicki manages the Waterville Indianapolis office and heads-up Waterville’s Asbestos Settlement Support Group.

  • Jack Donegan

    Jack Donegan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Financial Services from Illinois Wesleyan University. Prior to joining Waterville Advisors, he served as a sales consultant within the insurance industry, with a focus on building strategy and delivering strong financial results.

  • Abigail Donegan

    Abigail Donegan is a case manager for the managing partner of Waterville Advisors and is a licensed Consultant for Sage Settlement Consulting. She has degrees in English and Classics from the University of Notre Dame.

  • Kim Collins

    Kim Collins received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Kim has worked in the structured settlement industry since 2006. She works extensively in the quoting process, preparation of settlement documentation as well as contract administration.

  • Christine Cesak

    Christine Cesak received her bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and her master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She joined Waterville Advisors in 2023, focusing on office administration, operations, and structured settlement case management.

  • Casey Allen

    Casey Allen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Since joining Waterville Advisors in 2017, she has specialized in post-settlement services, ensuring continuity and a high standard of service for clients.

  • Jon Bucko

    Jon Bucko received his bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and joined Waterville Advisors in 2026 as a structured settlement case manager. He brings 28 years of experience in financial services, having worked with CitiGroup on the CBOE trading floor.
